Anticipation is high for classic and custom car enthusiasts throughout the Midwest.
“Downtown in the bricks, it’s the 26th annual Marysville Auto Fest Car Show, Saturday, June 4, at Marysville, Kansas,” announced Bill Weickert, show official.
“Everybody’s invited. We want vendors, spectators, show vehicles and good weather,” Weickert insisted. “We’re expecting more than 500 vehicles of all kinds.”
No preregistration is required, with exhibitors accepted from 8 o’clock, until noon. “The fee is still only $15,” Weickert pointed out. “We’ll be awarding awesome trophies to the ‘Top 75,’ plus specialty trophies.”
Plus, there’ll be a draw pot, and cash giveaways for entrants.
Additionally, motorcycles of all types as well as vintage tractors more than 30-years-old are to be on display.
A Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned barbecue cook-off is scheduled, along with many food and novelty vendors.
For the kiddies, special rides, games and pool passes are planned.
“Ladies, join us in your’40s and’50s attire for our ‘Bumpers ‘n’ Babes’ Contest,” Weickert expressed a special welcome.
