The weather is improving, and it looks to be a great evening for the 580 WIBW Farm Profit Conference scheduled Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Kendall State Bank Community Hall, located at 408 Broadway, in Valley Falls.
Coordinated by 580 WIBW Farm Director Kelly Lenz in cooperation with the Meadowlark Extension District, conference meeting room doors open at 5:30, with supper at 6 o’clock, and the educational, entertaining program gets underway at 6:45.
Many of the conference sponsors will have displays set up prior to, during and following the program for those in attendance to look over and visit about a wide array of farm products and services offered by the 580 WIBW advertisers.
Devin Dhuyvetter, ag economist at Kansas State University, is the lead-off speaker to discuss “What You Need To Know About Leases.”
Always a feature of Farm Profit Conferences, Darrell Holaday of Country Futures at Frankfort has titled his presentation: “The Other Side Of the Coin?”
