Rodeo action is planned this weekend at Overbrook.
According to Jane Goodyear of the Overbrook Osage County Fair, CR McKellips Rodeo Company will present an All Star Rodeo and Mutton Bustin’ Friday and Saturday evenings, June 17-18, at the Overbrook Fairgrounds.
Gates are to open each evening at 6 o’clock, with the nightly performances at 7 o’clock.
Dual sanctioned by the Missouri Rodeo Cowboys Association and the United Rodeo Association, rodeo events are to include bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, team roping, calf roping, breakaway roping and barrel racing.
There will be new cowboys and cowgirls each night, Goodyear said.
Signup for Mutton Bustin’ will be at 6 o’clock, nightly.
The fairgrounds are at 510 Cedar in Overbrook, Kansas.
