Actually, the best description of “the stuff” is a cowboy’s tack “dream come true” or a Western memorabilia-collector’s “Heaven on Earth.”

“Red cows and purple shirts; that’s the Mushrush family of Chase County.” Busy all of the time, this week is their busiest of the year. “It’s harvest time,” emphasized Joe Mushrush, admitting that might sound “out of season to many.”

Habitual Winner At Kansas Championship Ranch Rodeo

It’s a habit for the Arndt & Bailey Ranches team. The cowboy foursome of Ryan Arndt, Emporia; Wes Bailey, Cottonwood Falls; Josh Lilley, Manhattan; and Glen Collinge, Hamilton, again collected first place honors at the recent 2012 Kansas Championship Ranch Rodeo in Medicine Lodge.
